About the project
Based on my website, I built the RÄPSÖÖ Portfolio WordPress theme from scratch. From the start, I focused on making this theme accessible and highly usable, both technically and visually. I've crafted the code to ensure the site is intuitive and easy to navigate with various assistive technologies. The visual design incorporates high-contrast colours, making the font clear and legible for all visitors.
Accessibility at the Core
In every WordPress project I take on, I aim to design themes that are accessible and useful for all users, including admins and editors. With the RÄPSÖÖ theme, users get simple content management and customization, saving time and effort. Restricting third-party plugins makes maintenance easier, boosts site reliability, and keeps key features consistently easy to use.
Layout
Front Page
Frontpage features a clean, minimalist design that highlights personal details and creative work. The top section introduces the user with a bold headline, a brief "About Me" with a profile image, and a personal philosophy. To the right, professional experience and education are outlined, with key skills displayed in tags. Below, the "My Works" section presents a grid of portfolio items with category filtering, helping users quickly find relevant work. The "Contact Me" section includes links to email and social media, making it easy for visitors to connect.
